Diversity of thought is where it begins, not where it ends.

People hear what I do and say, “Ah, so it is diversity of thought.” Close, but not quite. Having different thinkers in the room is the easy part. Plenty of organizations have that and still produce the same safe ideas, because no one feels able to say what they really think.

Weird Wisdom is the practical bit that comes next.

It is knowing how to make those differences work together instead of cancelling each other out. How to turn an awkward question into a better decision. How to use tension instead of smoothing it away.

Different people in the room is a start. Knowing what to do with them is the whole different game.
