Comfort or Courage

We see a lot about leaders shutting people down at work. But more often than not, in my experience, it’s colleagues.

They’re the first to roll their eyes, go quiet, or freeze someone out, especially when a new person joins the team. Nothing threatens a group more than someone who refuses to blend in.

The next time a colleague speaks slightly off-script, please pause and ask yourself: Am I protecting comfort… or projecting courage?
