Narrowing our Perspective

Changing Perspective isn’t always about broadening it.

Yesterday, I had spent many hours at my keyboard when my body started to rebel. It was urging me to get up.

I decided I needed to move. Walking a regular route, easing myself into a pain free state by silently chanting an effective Louise Hay affirmation was my remedy.

In this meditative state I noticed a tree, one that is abundant in Hobart. For the first time I noticed the flower head was actually lots of tiny, individual flowers.

By the the time I had finished my walk I had ‘solved’ a writing problem I hadn’t realised I was even grappling with.

Sometimes we benefit from narrowing our perspective.
