I’ve spent the last few days in Sydney for Nic Hayes Meet the Media event. It was a great opportunity to connect, not just with people from the media, but with other attendees too. There were plenty of similarities among the media folks there, but for me, it was the differences that were important and illuminating.

While I was in town, I also caught up with Amit J Thapa, Oksana Koriakova, Jasmine Haddad, and Suzanne Rath GAICD and then, out of the blue, ran into fellow Tasmanian Ashley Vincent. The people you meet!

I was so engaged in the Meet the Media event that I didn’t take any photos. Cue cute duck shaped pate pic. Second photo? Well, it’s clear which one of us is the marketing genius.

Already looking forward to my next visit.
