What a whirlwind of emotions during my workout session on Saturday morning! While bouncing away on my mini trampoline and tuning into the US Masters Golf, a particular commentator caught my attention. In reference to Graham Smith, he mentioned, “He always treats both the highs and lows as imposters.” That line hit me like a curveball—I nearly tumbled off the trampoline!

We’ve all experienced those dips in life, those moments when things just don’t seem to go our way. Sometimes, if we’re fortunate, we have someone—a mentor, a friend—who helps us navigate through those rough patches, reminding us that the lows are merely temporary blips on the radar.

But here’s what struck a chord with me: I had just wrapped up an incredible week. It was one of those rare stretches where everything seemed to fall into place, culminating in a well-deserved celebration of ice cream.

Yet, in that moment of reflection, I realized something crucial—I was at risk of slowing down, of losing that momentum I had worked so hard to build.
It’s easy to become complacent when things are going well, isn’t it? That’s why those words about treating both highs and lows as imposters resonated with me. They serve as a reminder to stay vigilant, to keep pushing forward even when the going gets tough or when we’re tempted to coast on our past successes.

So here’s to embracing every moment—the highs, the lows, and everything in between—as part of the journey. Let’s use them all as fuel to keep moving forward, striving for even greater heights. After all, it’s the ups and downs that make the ride worthwhile.
