Welcome to the wrap up of December’s “Something New to Me” where I played around with some AI Generated Art for the first time. I was curious as to how it worked and what it could do.

I did do a brief instagram reel about 1 art creation tool on a well known graphic design site during this time. I noticed the bias towards white males being in the artwork. I would need to change the prompts to ‘include females’ to get female and people of colour represented.

I noticed a few days later the tool had been removed. Something I said? I hope so!

I then went on to play with some of the tools that generate headshots. These were a hoot but also disappointing. I don’t understand why they all assumed I was looking to appear younger. I didn’t look like that when I was 20 something AND who is that person with a waist!

While not a One and Done activity its certainly a One and Done for now. I might swing back in a few months and see if the tools have adapted to feedback.
